Design decisions

Why it’s designed this way.

Palette: Warm cream, espresso brown and terracotta

01
Menu first
The primary button goes straight to the menu — the first thing most café visitors want.
02
Editorial serif headings
A refined serif gives the brand a crafted, slow-morning personality.
03
Food does the talking
Large, appetizing photography replaces long descriptions.

Ember & Oak Café is a fictional business created to demonstrate our design approach. This is not a real client project.
